Profhilo Treatment London

Dubbed by the press as the ‘injectable moisturiser’ This treatment will give your skin that incredible dewy radiant glow that will have people commenting on your skin.

The Magic of Profhilo Treatment: More Than Just a Filler

Profhilo is not just another treatment on the long list of aesthetic procedures; it’s a revolutionary approach to skin rejuvenation. Unlike traditional fillers that solely focus on volume and contouring, Profhilo has a unique dual-action mechanism, making it a standout in aesthetic treatments.

At the heart of Profhilo lies hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in our skin. As we age, the levels of hyaluronic acid in our skin gradually diminish, leading to the appearance of wrinkles, dehydration, and loss of firmness. Profhilo works by strategically placing injections of pure, high-grade hyaluronic acid into specific areas of the skin. This not only replenishes lost hyaluronic acid but also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin—two vital proteins that maintain the skin’s structure and elasticity.

Our patients often feel that their skin has transformed after just a few sessions, highlighting an enhanced appearance with improved hydration and reduced wrinkles. The beauty of Profhilo lies in its subtlety; it offers natural results that amplify the skin’s inherent radiance rather than changing one’s features. It’s the art of accentuation, you look like you – only more radiant.

In addition to its rejuvenating properties, Profhilo provides unparalleled hydration. The high concentration of hyaluronic acid acts like a sponge, drawing moisture to the skin and retaining it, thus offering hydration from within. This intrinsic hydration mechanism helps in combating dryness, dullness, and the fine lines often associated with dehydrated skin.

The procedure is straightforward, with minimal downtime. The injections are strategically placed in areas that benefit the most from the treatment, ensuring even distribution and optimal results. While the immediate effects of Profhilo are impressive, it’s the long-term benefits—smoother, firmer, and more hydrated skin—that truly set it apart.

The Procedure

All aesthetic treatments at London Professional Aesthetics start with an important consultation. Our consultations are not a tick box exercise, they are an opportunity for our nurses to get to know you. You will be asked about your medical history, allergies, medications and all the usual questions. Once that is done, our nurses will want to get an understanding of what you are interested in or what your concerns are. All the time we are listening to you and hearing you, we are busy observing your face at rest and whilst you speak. This assessment is helping us to build a picture of who you are so that we can figure out the best treatment options for you and discuss your treatment with you.  If we proceed to the Profhilo treatment, you will start with a super strong numbing cream applied to your scrupulously clean skin.

Our nurses have undergone specialist training and education above and beyond standard nurse training. Theor skill knowledge and experience mean that when it comes to injecting, you cannot experience any better. Your treatment will involve 5 injection points on either side of the face. This will feel comfortable following the numbing cream. The injection process will take around 5 minutes to complete.

Immediately after treatment, it is normal to have small bumps under the skin. These are similar to mosquito bites and are more noticeable in some skins than others. These bumps will diminish in the hours following treatment. As with all injectable treatments, a small bruise is possible, if this happens it will not last long and will be easy to cover. You may also see some temporary redness in the areas injected, lasting only 20 minutes or so.

Once the treatment is done, we usually advise that you keep well hydrated to maximise the results of the treatment.

We usually advise 2 treatments one month apart, (this time guidance can be flexible somewhere between 3-6 weeks apart) The number of treatments will depend on your skin quality, sometimes we may suggest a third session of Profhilo injections.

Results are often noticed within a few days of your initial Profhilo.

Top-up treatment can be carried out 3-6 monthly.

The same sessions and side effects apply to Profhilo Body which can be used on different areas of the body such as the tummy.

Hyaluronic Acid: The Powerhouse Behind Profhilo’s Efficacy

In the modern era of aesthetic medicine, the chin has emerged as a focal point for many individuals seeking facial harmony and balance. At the heart of this trend lies chin filler, an innovative treatment offering promising results without the invasiveness of surgery. London has seen a surge in individuals exploring this enhancement.

So, why the emphasis on the chin? The answer lies in its ability to significantly influence facial proportions. A well-defined chin complements the jawline, accentuates the neck, and brings overall balance to one’s profile. However, not everyone is blessed with the ‘perfect’ chin. And that’s where London Professional Aesthetics come in.

From the moment you step into our skin clinic for a consultation, you’ll benefit from the experience and artistry of our nurses. Our team’s accumulative experience and expertise will guide you through every aspect of the chin filler process. Our job is to guide you to treatments that will make you feel good about yourself and to help you choose treatments that will bring out the best in your overall features.

The areas of focus aren’t limited to just enhancing the chin’s projection. This is simply a highlight of one of the current trends within aesthetics. Aside from that dermal filler can be used in many different areas of the face and should always be administered to improve the face as a whole not just targeting one area in isolation.

During your consultation, our specialists will discuss the optimal volume and placement of the filler, ensuring that the end results align with your desires. This experience isn’t about simply injecting a filler; it’s about understanding the ratios of the face, the interactions between facial muscles and skin and your goals for treatment.

At London Professional Aesthetics, it’s not only the dermal filler procedure that sets us apart. It’s a holistic experience. We understand the concerns, aspirations, and questions people might have about undergoing such procedures. Therefore, our approach is tailored, providing each patient with ample time to discuss, understand, and decide. It is so important for us to guide you through the entire process in the most stress-free way possible.

The trend toward non-surgical treatments like chin filler underlines a broader shift in how people perceive aesthetic treatment options. It’s no longer about drastic changes or chasing lines and wrinkles but subtle enhancements that exaggerate your natural looks.

Wrinkles Be Gone: Profhilo's Prowess in Skin Smoothing

Wrinkles. They’re inevitable, aren’t they? As the years roll by, our reflection subtly shifts, and slowly, these lines of experience begin to etch themselves onto our faces. While many see them as a testament to a life well-lived, others seek ways to diminish their prominence. Enter Profhilo—a revolutionary treatment that tackles these signs of ageing head-on, offering a refreshed appearance that many patients desire.

Understanding wrinkles requires diving a tad deeper into our skin’s structure. With age, the production of collagen and elastin—two primary proteins that maintain our skin’s elasticity and firmness—reduces. Couple this with diminishing hyaluronic acid reserves, and the skin loses its plumpness and hydration. The result? Wrinkles and fine lines and a slight sag effect in the skin.

However, unlike many treatments that merely mask these lines, Profhilo addresses the root cause. Its rich hyaluronic acid composition not only hydrates the skin but also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. This dual action ensures that not only are existing wrinkles smoothed out, but the skin’s overall health and resilience are enhanced, reducing the formation of new wrinkles. This treatment therefore not only treats the skin you have but also provides an investment in your future skin – a double whammy.

Our patients frequently tell us how wrinkles, especially around dynamic areas like the forehead and eyes, have affected their confidence. Whether it’s the pressures of work, the dating game or simply the constant critical way we compare ourselves to others. The areas in our faces with are most expressive of our emotions, will have the most prominent wrinkles and can sometimes make you appear more tired or stressed than you truly are. Profhilo’s ability to restore hydration and improve skin texture ensures these regions regain their vitality, allowing patients to express themselves freely without worrying about the impact on your face.

Another noteworthy mention is how Profhilo stands out from other injections and treatments. While Botox relaxes the muscles to reduce wrinkles, Profhilo hydrates and nourishes the skin from within. The treatment process, while straightforward, is transformative. The procedure involves a series of precise injections that introduce hyaluronic acid into the skin. The experience, when carried out by experienced practitioners, is comfortable, with minimal downtime.

In conclusion, wrinkles are a natural part of ageing, but with advancements in aesthetic treatments like Profhilo, they don’t have to define our appearance. Offering a holistic approach to skin health, Profhilo ensures that each patient walks out with smoother skin, a radiant glow, and a boost in confidence.

Profhilo's Versatility: Targeting Key Areas for Maximum Impact

When considering aesthetic treatments, one of the most frequent questions posed by patients revolves around target areas. They’re keen to understand where treatments like Profhilo can be most beneficial and how it can enhance their overall appearance. With its unique properties and action mechanism, Profhilo offers a versatile solution, targeting key areas to rejuvenate and refresh the skin.

Profhilo is interesting because, unlike other injectable treatments, with Profhilo the same five points are treated on either side of the face. The reason for this is that these five points have been identified in studies as the perfect points to ensure the even distribution of hyaluronic acid across the face. The face is not the only area that can be treated with Profhilo (especially now, we also have the arrival of Profhilo Body – designed specifically to treat larger surface areas. Profhilo can essentially treat anywhere there is skin –

  1. Face: Over time, our facial skin loses its youthful plumpness, leading to sagging and wrinkles. Profhilo replenishes the skin’s hydration, restoring volume and diminishing lines. In the face, the same five points are targeted on the cheekbone, the mid-cheek, the skin in front of the tragus, the angle of the jaw, and the chin

  2. Neck: An often neglected area, the neck can betray signs of ageing. Profhilo treatments can smooth out ‘necklace lines’ and improve skin texture.

  3. Hands: The back of our hands is another region that can show age rapidly, with the skin becoming thin and veiny. A session with Profhilo can rejuvenate this area, providing a more youthful appearance.

  4. Décolletage: This chest area, often exposed to the sun, can develop crepey skin. Profhilo’s hydrating action revitalizes the skin, reducing wrinkles and improving elasticity.

Maintaining Skin Health: The Profhilo Advantage

At the very heart of every radiant complexion lies well-hydrated and healthy skin. Our skin is a living organ, constantly exposed to various external factors like pollutants, UV rays, and stress, which can deteriorate its quality. The inner scaffolding of the skin, which keeps it supple and elastic, is made up of collagen and elastin. Over time, as we age, the production of these vital proteins diminishes, leading to sagging and the formation of wrinkles.

Enter Profhilo—a groundbreaking treatment designed to directly address these concerns and promote optimal skin health. Unlike traditional fillers, Profhilo is not about adding volume. It’s a holistic approach to skin rejuvenation.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Hyaluronic Acid Infusion: Profhilo’s primary component is hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in our skin responsible for retaining moisture. This hydration is vital, as it ensures the skin remains plump and youthful.

  2. Stimulation of Collagen and Elastin Production: Beyond hydration, Profhilo has a bio-remodeling capacity. The injections stimulate the skin to produce more collagen and elastin. This dual action restores firmness, diminishes fine lines, and improves overall texture.

  3. Long-Term Skin Health Benefits: The cumulative effects of regular Profhilo treatments can lead to sustainable skin health improvements. It’s not just a temporary fix but a long-term investment in your skin’s vitality.

Our clinic’s experience with countless patients showcases consistent results. After the procedure, individuals often report feeling their skin is more hydrated, with a tangible improvement in its texture and tone. The appearance of fine lines diminishes, and the skin’s natural glow is notably enhanced. Most notably, our patients tell us that they frequently receive compliments in regard

While Profhilo offers numerous advantages, it’s essential to remember that the results can vary based on individual skin types and conditions. That’s why an initial consultation is critical. At our clinic, we ensure that every patient receives a thorough assessment, allowing us to tailor the treatment to their specific needs. It is often the case that most of us will benefit from several different procedures, that is simply because the skin ages in several ways affecting several visible changes. One of our roles in our consultations is to help you to identify your priorities. This approach helps you to figure out a sensible skin treatment plan. In other words which treatment will get you the best result quickly and which treatments will build on that help keep the signs of ageing at bay? Profhilo often features within that plan because of its unique skin-brightening results.

Profhilo vs. Traditional Treatments: A New Age in Skin Rejuvenation

Profhilo is known as a skin booster. There are other options to consider within this treatment category. The reason that Profhilo is widely acknowledged as the industry leader is down to its undeniable visible results, its longevity of results (many skin booster treatment results last as little as a few weeks) and its continued effect on stimulating collagen and elation production (meaning that you benefit from the treatment itself and also banking in future results against visible signs of ageing.

Getting Sciencey

Profhilo is officially not a dermal filler biorevitaliser or a skin booster. Profhilo® has opened up a new injectable category – bioremodeling.

Thermal cross-linking changes the character and behavior of the HA resulting in the formation of co-operative hybrid complexes which modulate the tissues. This is also the explanation for the different biological behaviours concerning H-HA and L-HA alone. One of the main advantages is longevity. Hybrid cooperative complexes have proven to be very stable with natural hyaluronidase (BTH) digestion when compared to H-HA, widely used in revitalisation products, or L-HA alone resulting in the long-lasting release and the dual action of the two HA components. This dual action is ideal for remodelling skin laxity.

The foundation of Profhilo’s effectiveness lies in its composition: a pure-grade hyaluronic acid. Unlike other treatments that might use varied synthetic compounds or combination ingredients, pure hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies, crucial for retaining skin moisture and elasticity. Its inclusion in Profhilo ensures natural-looking results that don’t just mask, but genuinely reverse the signs of ageing, targeting wrinkles and fine lines with precision.

But how does Profhilo compare to other treatments?

  1. Depth of Hydration: Hyaluronic Acid is a buzzword in beauty. It is listed as an ingredient in many creams and even hair products. However, the truth is, is that hyaluronic acid is too large a molecule to be able to penetrate the surface of the skin. The only way to increase your hyaluronic acid is to inject the substance just under the top layers of the skin.

  2. Stimulation of Collagen and Elastin: While some treatments might provide temporary plumpness, Profhilo boosts collagen and elastin production. This not only addresses the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles but enhances the skin’s overall structural integrity. So you get the initial wow factor backed up with a drip feed of collagen and elastin.

  3. Natural Results: Due to its bio-compatible nature, Profhilo offers results that look and feel natural. There’s no risk of the skin appearing “overdone” or “artificial.” Profhilo can be the perfect option for those who don’t feel ready for Botox or dermal filler.

  4. Versatility in Areas Treated: Profhilo isn’t just for the face. Its unique formulation allows for treatment in various areas, including the neck, hands, and décolletage, ensuring comprehensive rejuvenation. Anywhere you have skin – Profhilo is an option. For those larger areas, Profhgilo Body will cover it.

  5. Safety and Experience: Given its natural composition, the risks of allergic reactions or complications are minimal. This treatment is possibly the safest injectable treatment out there.

The crux of modern aesthetic treatments lies in delivering results that not only look good but also feel genuine. Patients today are more informed and discerning, seeking treatments that offer long-lasting benefits without changing their character. In this landscape, Profhilo emerges as a front-runner, bridging the gap between temporary aesthetic improvements and genuine skin health enhancement.

If you’ve tried other treatments and found them lacking or are just starting your journey into the world of aesthetic procedures, consider Profhilo. Its unique approach to skin rejuvenation, combined with its safety profile and our clinic’s expertise, makes it a compelling choice for those serious about skin health
