LPA takes the issue of consent very seriously.
It is our duty to provide you with all the information you need to decide whether or not you would like to proceed with a treatment.
Before you decide, here are some prompts for you to consider to ensure you have all the information you need.

• Do you understand how the treatment works?
• Do you understand that there is never a guarantee of outcome with any procedure?
• Do you have an idea of how long the treatment may take and any discomfort you may expect to experience?
• Do you have a good idea of what side effects or unwanted effects you may experience after the procedure?
• Do you understand any aftercare advice you have been given?
• Do you have contact details should you need some advice after the procedure?
• Do you know how much the procedure will cost and whether there are any related costs in the future?
• Do you understand that photographs are taken as part of your medical history and will only be used in promotional materials if you are happy for that to happen?
• Do you know that you can change your mind if you decide not to go ahead with a treatment you previously thought you might want?
