The Perfect Peel and TCA Treatments: Premier Skin Peels in London’s Aesthetic Clinic

The ultimate skin peel. Seven days to incredible skin, reduction in fine lines, pigmentation, pores and scarring.

Introducing Perfect Peel: London's Choice for Skin Rejuvenation

The Perfect Peel is the ultimate skin treatment for anyone who lives in London. The Perfect Peel isn’t just a name; it represents a promise – a commitment to revitalising the skin in a manner few treatments can match. As a leading clinic in the bustling city, we’ve witnessed firsthand this peel’s transformational results for countless individuals. The Perfect Peel is also a favourite with our LPA practitioners.

So, what makes Perfect Peel so ‘perfect’?  First and foremost, it targets a vast array of skin concerns. From stubborn age spots that defy conventional treatments to tenacious wrinkles to dullness and enlarged pores. The Perfect Peel addresses them all. This isn’t just an ordinary skin peel; it’s about restoring the skin’s right to look and feel its best.

Hyperpigmentation, a concern that frustrates many. is notably diminished post-treatment. Be it melasma patches that add years to the face or the pesky age spots that resist fading, Perfect Peel has proven its efficacy time and time again.

We find that often, our patients will be mostly perplexed by pigmentation as by now, we are well aware of the issues with sunbathing and have taken much better care of our skin at least for the last 15 years or so. The problem is that the sun damage we see on our faces now usually results from damage that took place many years before – often even in childhood. So the fact that you are taking care of your skin now, is incredibly helpful. However, those pigment-producing cells that were switched on – all those years ago – unfortunately will stay the way – there is no ‘off switch’.

But it’s not just about treating existing issues. The Perfect Peel is a proactive measure for those who believe in the age-old adage, “prevention is better than cure.” By stimulating the skin’s natural rejuvenation processes, this treatment ensures that issues like wrinkles, scars, and uneven texture stay at bay for longer. The Perfect Peel once or twice a year is part of your anti-ageing artillery.

A crucial number of Londoners have experienced the magic of Perfect Peel in their skincare journey. They’ve seen the tangible improvement in skin texture, the diminishment of acne scars, and the undeniable facial rejuvenation it brings.

We invite you to experience this revolutionary skin treatment at our state-of-the-art skin clinic. After all, Perfect Peel isn’t just about beauty; it’s about harnessing the science of skincare to give you results that speak for themselves.

The Perfect Peel is the only peel in the industry that has discovered the secret formula to combining Glutathione into its blend. Glutathione is widely known as the Godmother of all antioxidants and its effects on the skin are transformative.

Catering to Diverse Skin Types: Personalized Peel Treatment for Every Individual

Skincare cannot adopt a one-size-fits-all approach in a city as diverse and multicultural as London. Londoners hail from various backgrounds and ethnicities, each bringing its unique set of skin concerns and characteristics. Understanding this, our clinic prioritizes offering treatments that cater to a plethora of different skin, ensuring everyone walks out with their desired outcome.

Skin categories can broadly range from dry to oily, sensitive to resistant, or pigmented to non-pigmented. Each type comes with its own set of challenges. The dry skin might grapple with wrinkles earlier than its oily counterpart. Similarly, sensitive skin might be more prone to redness and irritation, while pigmented skin may struggle with issues like melasma or hyperpigmentation.

Then we have to consider the colour of the skin itself and the ethnicity that belies that. This is crucial in treating with chemical peels to ensure the best possible outcome and factor in the different ways that different types of skin respond to peeling.

With all skin, preparing the skin for peeling using prescription creams will mean an improved outcome. With darker and mixed skin types, this period of preparation can be essential to ensure the same level of results. darker and mixed skin can often ‘age better’ about lines and wrinkles but can be more prone to ageing via pigmentation. Using daily SPF (regardless of the weather) is an essential first step when considering peel treatments.

The Perfect Peel has revolutionized the skincare industry with its unique ingredient blend, notably glutathione, which delves deep into the skin’s cellular levels to combat oxidant damage. This peel doesn’t just exfoliate; it rejuvenates, firms, and enhances skin vitality.

The Perfect Peel, when administered by an experienced knowledgeable practitioner is suitable for all skin types. This is where the magic of the Perfect Peel becomes evident. The peel treatment is tailored to address specific concerns related to different skin types. For instance, those of you with acne scars can experience a notable reduction in their appearance post-treatment. Similarly, if you are aiming for skin tightening or facial rejuvenation can find the Perfect Peel to be a game-changer.

Age spots, once considered a perennial sign of ageing, can now be visibly reduced. This gives you the ability to age on your terms, choosing to embrace or erase the signs as you deem fit.

Post-treatment, our skin clinic in London provides the necessary guidance and resources to ensure the results last. After all, skin care is an ongoing commitment, and want to go with you every step of the way. Daily SPF is extremely important in the first six weeks following a peel treatment but should become essential every single day. The Perfect Peel comes with a take-home skin kit, but in addition, you may want to add in The Perfect A & The Perfect B & The Perfect C.

The Perfect A cream is a prescription strength Vitamin A cream, developed to increase the rate of skin cell turnover.

The Perfect B is a prescription cream containing Hydroquinone 4% which works to ‘switch off’ pigment-producing cells, helping with discolouration and evening out the colour of the skin.

The Perfect C is a potent antioxidant which will help to illuminate and protect the skin from the environment.

Finally, while the Perfect Peel is transformative, we always emphasise the importance of daily skin care. Regular maintenance, paired with treatments like the Perfect Peel, paves the way for lasting skin health and vibrancy.

Targeting Melasma: Transformative Peel Solutions

Melasma is one of the most common yet challenging skin conditions many people face, manifesting as brown or grey-brown patches typically on the face. This hyperpigmentation can be triggered by various factors such as hormonal changes, sun exposure, and even genetic predisposition. While this kind of discolouration isn’t painful or harmful, it can have a significant impact on one’s appearance and self-esteem. But, with advancements in skin care, the Perfect Peel offers a transformative solution for those battling pigmentation problems in London and beyond.

  1. Understanding Melasma: Melasma thrives on the interplay between hormones and UV exposure. This is why it’s commonly seen in pregnant women and those on birth control or hormone replacement therapies. The areas primarily affected include the cheeks, bridge of the nose, forehead, and upper lip. A holistic understanding of this condition forms the foundation of an effective skin treatment plan.
  2. Why Chemical Peels?: The depth of melasma within the skin dictates the kind of treatment required. Chemical peels, specifically the Perfect Peel, can delve into deeper skin layers to reduce the appearance of these stubborn patches. They work by accelerating the skin’s natural exfoliation process, leading to the removal of damaged skin cells and promoting the growth of new, healthier ones.
  3. How Does the Perfect Peel Stand Out?: The strength of the Perfect Peel lies in its potent mix of ingredients. With a blend of acids, antioxidants, and brightening agents, it not only targets the hyperpigmentation caused by melasma but also addresses issues like wrinkles, texture, and overall skin health. It’s no surprise that many patients consider it their go-to skin treatment in London.
  4. Optimizing Results with Pre and Post-Peel Care: Achieving desired results from a peel treatment for melasma requires dedication even beyond the procedure. Using sun protection is crucial as UV exposure can exacerbate melasma. Similarly, incorporating skin care products that support skin health, hydration, and repair can boost the outcomes of the peel treatment.
  5. When to Seek Other Treatments: While the Perfect Peel is an excellent solution for melasma, some cases might require a combination approach. Combining the Perfect Peel with the Perfect A, B, and C creams will provide the perfect package for addressing this difficult-to-treat issue.

Improving Skin Texture: Smooth, Refreshed Results

One of the most sought-after goals in the realm of skincare and aesthetic treatments is achieving a refined, even skin texture. Over time, a combination of environmental stressors, natural ageing, and lifestyle factors can lead to a skin surface that looks and feels rough, uneven, or blemished. The Perfect Peel, as offered in London, has risen as a solution for those aiming to reclaim a smoother, more youthful complexion and the confidence to go makeup-free with improved fine lines and wrinkles.

  1. The Role of Skin Texture in Our Appearance: Skin texture plays a pivotal role in our overall appearance. Smooth skin not only looks radiant but also reflects light better, leading to a natural glow. On the contrary, rough or blemished skin can dull our complexion, making us look tired or older than we are. It’s not just about wrinkles; texture can be an equally telling sign of age and skin health.
  2. Factors Affecting Skin Texture: Various culprits can affect the skin’s texture. From sun damage leading to age spots and UV-induced roughness to the aftermath of acne scars, the reasons behind compromised skin texture are numerous. Additionally, the skin naturally loses elastin and collagen over time, leading to a less plump, uneven surface.
  3. How the Perfect Peel Transforms Texture: The Perfect Peel works wonders in the realm of skin rejuvenation. By inducing a controlled shedding of the outer skin layers, it reveals fresher, smoother skin beneath. The blend of potent acids in the Perfect Peel not only addresses hyperpigmentation and melasma but also targets issues related to texture, reducing the appearance of pores, fine lines, and superficial scars. It’s a comprehensive facial rejuvenation procedure that has gained massive popularity in skin clinics across London.
  4. Maintenance for Lasting Results: Achieving smoother skin is just part of the journey; maintaining it is equally essential. Regular skin care, including gentle exfoliation, hydration, and sun protection, can prolong the effects of the Perfect Peel. A skin tightening regimen can further enhance the skin’s suppleness and texture, ensuring lasting results.
  5. Seeking Expertise: While chemical peels like the Perfect Peel are incredibly beneficial, their results are best optimized when tailored to individual skin types and concerns. This is where the role of a trusted skin clinic and consultation comes into play. Discussing your goals and concerns with an expert ensures that the chosen treatment aligns well with your skin care aspirations.

Minimising Scars: Achieving a Flawless Face with Perfect Peel

Our skin, the body’s largest organ, often tells our life story. Every scrape, every burn, and every bout of acne can leave a mark. Some people can be, frustratingly, much more prone to scarring than others. Scars, no matter how small or inconspicuous, can be a source of self-consciousness for many. However, advances in aesthetic treatments,  offer an option to address this annoying problem. With treatments like the Perfect Peel, individuals are finding a pathway to smoother, scar-minimized skin, boosting their confidence and face value.

  1. Understanding Scarring: At its core, a scar is a mark left on the skin or within body tissue, where a wound, burn, or sore hasn’t healed completely and fibrous connective tissue has developed. Whether it’s the result of a past injury, surgery, or acne, scarring can take various forms, from raised keloids to depressed atrophic scars.
  2. How Does the Perfect Peel Help?: The Perfect Peel harnesses a potent blend of acids designed to penetrate the skin’s layers, stimulate collagen production, and accelerate the skin’s natural regeneration process. As old, scarred skin cells are shed, they’re replaced by newer, fresher skin cells. Over time and with consistent treatments, scars become less noticeable, and skin tone and texture improve. It’s no surprise that such skin treatments have gained significant traction in London and beyond.
  3. Acne Scars and the Perfect Peel: Perhaps the most common facial scars come from acne. Whether from adolescent or adult acne, these scars can range from shallow depressions to deep and narrow pits to areas of discolouration. The Perfect Peel, combined with a diligent skin care regimen, can significantly reduce the appearance of acne scars, leading to a clearer and more even complexion.
  4. Consultation Is Key: While the Perfect Peel offers promising results, it’s crucial to remember that not all scars and skin types are the same. A consultation at LPA with one of our experienced nurses can determine how deep scars are, the type of scars present, and the best treatment approach. Patients can achieve the best possible outcomes by tailoring the peel treatment to individual needs. This treatment can be used for acne and acne scarring.
  5. Supporting Skin Post-Treatment: After undergoing a Perfect Peel procedure, supporting the skin’s health is vital. This means embracing a skincare routine that promotes healing, reduces inflammation, and maintains hydration. By prioritising skin health, the benefits of the Perfect Peel are prolonged, and the face remains radiant and refreshed.

The Process

The Perfect Peel is a combination of ingredients not least Glutathione. Glutathione is the ultimate antioxidant.

At your treatment, following your consultation and your personalised plan, your face will be thoroughly cleansed.

The Peel itself is applied to the skin using gauze. Once the peel has been applied, you will experience a feeling of heat. This can be quite a strange sensation when experiencing it for the first time. This feeling of heat, lasts around a minute or 2, dropping back down to normal as quickly as it started. You will then have another 1-2 layers applied. Any particular areas of concern can be targeted specifically.

You will leave London Professional Aesthetics clinic with the peel on your skin. Immediately after the peel, for some people, it can look like a dodgy fake tan as the solution itself is an orange/brown colour. Some people may appear a little red and some may look fairly normal as they leave.

You will leave the peel in place for a minimum of 6 hours (often we will advise you to leave it on overnight). You will be given an individual home treatment pack including a perfect peel home care moisturiser. The kit also contains 2 retinol wipes. You will receive instructions on when and how to use these. For the first few days, we recommend you limit moisture to the face as much as possible. You must avoid excessive sun exposure. Peeling will usually start a day or 2 after the peel. This peeling can be quite visible and therefore this is important to factor into your planning. Peeling is usually completed by day six or seven. The Perfect Peel is designed as a one treatment process. However, depending on your starting point or your goals, you may be advised to have further treatments. The full results are usually evident around 6 weeks after treatment resulting in skin that you feel proud of. The texture of your skin will be smoother, healthier and clearer looking.

The Perfect Peel booster solution is a way of maxing up your treatment – a solution that is added to the original peel. This is not usually done on a first treatment but may be added at a follow-up treatment. This can be helpful in thick resilient skin which can be more difficult to penetrate.

Cost

The cost of The Perfect Peel at London Professional Aesthetics is £375. This price includes your consultation, the treatment itself and your homecare kit. We are also on hand to guide you through the peeling that you will experience. The Perfect Peel treatment is a medium-depth peel. If you feel that the 7 days of downtime is too much for you, we can offer you lighter peels with less downtime. This will be fully covered in your comprehensive consultation.

Whether you are looking to tighten and firm the skin, diminish signs of ageing, improve patchiness, acne or the marks left behind, the Perfect Peel is considered to be the gold standard in cosmetic chemical face peel procedures.
