I am really excited to bring you news of a brand new injectable treatment from Allergan. This is the latest filler product from Allergan, the people that make the Juvéderm range of fillers and the ‘Botox’ of botulinum toxins. It is part of the Vycross range. These are Hyaluronic-acid based fillers, which last a bit longer and they do a bit more than the average filler. The other Vycross family members include:
Voluma – mainly for mid face volumisation
Volift – mainly for nose to mouth lines & lip treatments
Volbella – mainly for the frown area, crow’s feet and soft hydrated lips
This new innovative addition is called VOLUX and this is a product that has been created, specifically, to help with defining the chin and jawline area.
It is quite a firm product. The idea is it really helps to provide structure and balance to the face.
Up until now, we have been using filler in that area, which we would call kind of ‘off-license’. In other words, not specifically what the filler was for, and now we have a product that is actually meant for the purpose.
I am very happy to be one of the first practitioners that has been trained by Allergan to use this product.
I have not stopped using it since I have been trained. I have already done a number treatments with it, and I have to say I am absolutely loving it. It is great to inject, it is easy to mould and it finishes so naturally that it just looks like you. The results are amazing. it’s part of the Juvéderm range. Who is it for?
There are many people are really into this whole very defined look in the lower face, the jawline, the chin. Think Kim Kardashian, contouring.
However, that is not where it ends, in my view, this is a small percentage of the people for whom this treatment is intended.
For those of you that come in and see me, I am going to be recommending this those of you who I think will benefit from it, and here is why. I feel that the benefits of treating the jawline and the chin are areas are typically overlooked.
For example, I have who may identify issues with their lips or around the mouth area. Often, it would not even come into their minds, that doing something with the jawline and the chin would be something that would enhance this whole area.
By using VOLUX, we can improve the balance of the whole face, give support to the area around the mouth in addition to improving the facial profile..
So far, so many of the people that I have treated with this have said

As with all treatments, depending on whether you are a woman or a man, you can feminise or masculinise the face.
Process
Results are immediate. However, you will find, as with all of the Vycross range, that you actually improve over the weeks that follow. So it actually looks better with time. The results are long lasting, discomfort and downtime minimal.
