Sculptra is administered via a series of injections into the treatment area. Each Sculptra appointment at LPA — whether a single session or one appointment within a course — is 60 minutes. This allows time for discussion, assessment of overall skin including skin texture, skin laxity and volume loss or sagging.
Sculptra is available at LPA as a single session or as a course of 2 or 3 treatments. The course of treatment is determined on the factors as identified above.

Sttarting on the day of treatment, you must massage the treated area of skin 5 times a day, for 5 minutes, and continue this for 5 days. You will be shown how to do this during your appointment.
Downtime
Following any cosmetic injectable treatment, there is always a small risk of experiencing a bruise and or swelling. You may notice redness around the injection sites. All of these side effects will resolve within a few days. Within a few weeks, you will start to notice some subtle changes, maximising at around 6 weeks.

Is Sculptra treatment painful, and is there any downtime?
Sculptra is used with a numbing agent which makes the treatment extremely comfortable. All of our nurses at LPA have had years of experience with facial injectables, resulting in their ability to provide pain free treatments. As with all injectables, there is a possibility of mild bruising and swelling after treatment, whilst this does not always happen, we always advise you to factor that in when planning a session.
How does Sculptra compare with Profhilo and traditional dermal fillers?
