London Botox Clinic Offering Baby Botox, Masseter Botox, TMJ and Jawline Botox

Botox is the gold standard treatment for lines and wrinkles in the upper face. By far the most popular anti-wrinkle treatment.

London Professional Aesthetics (LPA) is a clinic specialising in all different types of Botox. Botox is a wonder drug which has so many different uses. Treating the skin is just one small speciality that doctors have discovered.

Here at LPA, we believe that looking your best and feeling your best are intrinsically linked together and that the impact of these feelings have a hugely positive impact on your overall life and outlook.

In a nutshell, Botox can be used to help relax lines and wrinkles, release tension in the jaw area, reduce sweating, enhance the look of the lips and lots more. These treatments however are just a small part of the story, what really matters is the way you feel after experiencing these results and that impact on your day-to-day life.

The best place to start is with a consultation, so that we can firstly ensure that you are medically suitable for treatment, secondly assess whether and how this procedure will benefit you and then work with you to figure out your perfect treatment plan.

Botox is a treatment which is suitable and indeed highly beneficial for both men and women. It is one of the most ‘straightforward’ aesthetic procedures and is one that for most people, their only regret is not starting sooner. How do we know this? Our patients tell us this, so we know it is true.

Botox London

If you are looking for a great experience of having Botox in London, then we are at your service. An award-winning clinic, registered with Save Face and The Care Quality Commission and only highly experienced, prescribing nurse practitioners administering your treatment. You really can’t do better. Our clinic is located right in the bustle of the city, a few minutes walk from Barbican and Old Street stations and a stone’s throw away from a whole host of other stations and bus stops. At LPA our qualified skilful staff use Botox the brand in our treatments to ensure you have the best results.

The Rise of the Nurse-Led Approach

For many, the traditional paradigm had always positioned the doctor at the forefront of Botox treatments. But think about this for a moment. In any healthcare setting – what skills are nurses most acclaimed for? Firstly, they have an ability to connect, relate to and understand the person in front of them. Secondly their prowess in practical skills, namely injection skills. Our nurses at LPA have all studied to a higher level, enabling them to understand facial anatomy and prescribe medication and have spent years and years injecting and honing their uniquely gentle touch.

Botox Beyond Wrinkles

While the primary association with Botox is often wrinkle reduction, its applications span a wider range. From addressing frown lines on the forehead to freshening the appearance around the eyes to reducing excessive sweating, Botox’s versatility cannot be understated. In our clinic, every application is an art form. The goal? help you to look your best and to benefit from the confidence that naturally arises from that feeling.

The Consultation Process:

How do I know Botox is for me?

Every treatment begins with a consultation. For us, this really isn’t a mere formality. It’s an essential stage of the process of understanding the desires and concerns of our patients. Our experienced nurses know how to ask the right questions to get to understand who you are and how we can best help. This starts with a thorough medical assessment to ensure that there is no underlying health problem that may pose a problem with treatment. Following this, a discussion around your goals and desires and what may be achievable for you. This will include a full breakdown of what the procedure involves, the muscles we will target, and what to expect going forward.

By the time our patients leave the treatment room, they are equipped with knowledge, clarity, and a sense of anticipation.

Natural Results: The Holy Grail of Aesthetics

The ultimate goal? Achieving results that are undeniably effective yet indistinguishably natural. Gone are the days when Botox treatments rendered faces expressionless. Our treatments, fine-tuned to each patient, ensure that every smile, frown, and raised eyebrow remains as expressive as ever, just without the accompanying lines and wrinkles. For some this may be achieved using ‘Baby Botox’. This simply refers to a way of administering Botox in tiny doses in many parts of the face to achieve a super fresh and natural look.

The London Experience at Our Clinic

Our clinic, situated in the heart of this vibrant city, resonates with the energy and ethos of London. Whitecross Street is a cool, arty street hosting street art murals throughout the year, a street party every year and a global street food market for the foodies amongst you. Our patients love visiting our clinic and we love working here.

Erasing Frown Lines: Learn our signature approach

The human face is designed to reflect our emotions, each wrinkle and line in the upper face appears due to the use of the muscles lying underneath the skin. Probably the most popular area treated by Botox is the frown.

Understanding Frown Lines

This is the set of muscles in between your eyebrows, whose job it is to pull your brows downwards and inwards. The frown represents a negative expression, which after years can start to make some people look permanently cross or unapproachable. If this look does not match your personality (and sometimes even if it does), it can be really frustrating either constantly being asked ‘are you OK?” or simply the fact that unwittingly radiating a sense of negativity can result in that being reflected back to you.

Treating the frown lines, therefore can be way more than just a vanity trip. Feeling like you look happier can have a much wider effect on your sense of well-being and the way those around you respond to you.

This treatment has the effect of making you look less stressed and tired, more energized and happier. In other words, you look like you but better.

You may of course choose to team up your frown treatment with other areas like the forehead and the bunny lines. At LPA our signature ‘natural look’ Botox is the frown area treated alongside the crows’ feet (around the side of the eyes). This is a fabulous approach to treatment for men or for women who are looking for that natural refresh. It has the effect of rejuvenation, opening out the eye area whilst retaining movement in the forehead so that no one can figure out what is different just that ‘you look amazing’ vibe!

Why Target Frown Lines?

The Power of Botox in Erasing Lines

Botox has emerged as a frontrunner in the fight against frown lines. There literally is nothing out there that can achieve the same results as Botox is the best – it is widely acknowledged as the gold standard for anti-ageing. The use of Botox started as a ‘one size fits all’ approach but these days Botox can help achieve a fresh flawless look for men and women. Botox wrinkle relaxing treatment is an art and a science combined to give the definitive cosmetic treatment.

Natural Results: Subtlety is Key

Our clinic prides itself on delivering natural outcomes. Our ideal isn’t to immobilise the face but to soften lines while preserving the ability to express a full range of emotions.

At LPA our signature ‘natural look’ Botox is the frown area treated alongside the crows’ feet (around the side of the eyes). As mentioned previously, this is the perfect approach for men and women really after that natural look, the movement of the forehead (usually associated with positive mood and expression, distracts from the softening of the crow’s feet and frown area (the areas that tend to show ageing more noticeably) leading to nothing but compliments!

However, ultimately we aim to listen and understand what your goals are and offer solutions and advice based on this.

Beyond Botox: Exploring Other Treatments

While Botox is highly effective, it’s not the only tool in our arsenal. We offer a range of treatments tailored to individual needs. From hyaluronic acid fillers to skin-boosting treatments, each procedure ensures the desired results are achieved in the most holistic manner

Treating areas or treating by the vial

When you read or hear about Botox treatments you will inevitably hear about different ‘areas’. When we use Botox, we target different sets of muscles in different parts of the face or neck (or other places). These are commonly referred to as ‘areas’. Some people may opt to treat all facial areas, whilst others may focus on one or two. At LPA we lean away from treating ‘areas’ to enable us to assess and treat the face more holistically.

We offer Botox by the vial which means that we can use your treatment where it works best without being constrained by which areas we are including or excluding. It may be that we focus on a specific area or we may opt to use a Baby Botox approach using small doses in numerous target areas, this can really help to promote that soft natural look.

Beyond the Forehead: Exploring Botox Realms

While the forehead is a popular area of treatment, the versatility of Botox allows us to address concerns in multiple areas. Whether it’s crow’s feet around the eyes, bunny lines on the nose, or even the vertical bands on the neck, our clinic offers tailored treatments to address and correct these issues. Botox treats a surprising number of fine lines and wrinkles.

Botox for a Lifted Brow

Over time, as skin loses its elasticity, eyebrows can start to droop, giving a tired or aged appearance. Botox can be strategically used to provide a subtle lift, opening up the eyes and giving a refreshed look. This treatment, popularly known as the ‘Botox brow lift’, showcases the subtlety and finesse of the LPA approach.

Smoothing the Platysmal Bands

The vertical bands that sometimes appear on the neck, known as platysmal bands, can be a source of concern for many, creating a ‘scrawny’ neck look. These bands result from the contraction of neck muscles. Botox injections can relax these muscles, softening the appearance of these bands and restoring a smoother neck contour.

Chin and Jawline Refinement

A dimpled or ‘cobblestone’ appearance can emerge on the chin due to overactive muscles and/or the thinning of the skin lying over the chin. Through our Botox treatments, we can smooth the chin area, providing a harmonious balance to the lower face. Additionally, for those seeking a slimmer jawline, Botox can be applied to the masseter muscles, reducing their size and offering a more tapered appearance. We can also help those of you who suffer with excessive teeth clenching or ‘bruxism’ which can be devastating for your teeth.

Botox for Hyperhidrosis

One of the lesser-known applications of Botox is in treating excessive sweating, known as hyperhidrosis. When traditional treatments fail, Botox can be a game-changer. By targeting sweat glands in areas like the underarms, palms, or soles of the feet, we can significantly reduce sweat production, offering relief to our patients. Treating underarm sweating has proven to be a life-changing improvement for many of our patients who have undergone this.

Understanding the Science Behind Botox and Facial Muscles

Botulinum Toxin or Botox itself works by simply relaxing muscles. The skin ages in many different ways. One of those ways is directly related to the use of muscles that lie under the skin we want to improve. Years of using facial muscles, start to leave permanent lines in the skin. These ‘static lines’ as we call them can be responsible for increasing how old you look. So by setting to work, to reduce the strength of these muscles, we are able to diminish the static lines from settling into the skin. This type of wrinkle treatment is very different to other skin treatments like dermal filler which targets volume loss.

Botox and Neuromuscular Communication

At its core, Botox is a neuromodulator. When introduced into specific muscles, it blocks the release of a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine. This neurotransmitter is responsible for muscle contractions. By inhibiting its release, Botox effectively relaxes the targeted muscle, preventing it from contracting and thus smoothing out the overlying skin, reducing facial expression without freezing it.

Precision is Key: The Art of Targeting

You might wonder, with so many muscles at play, how do you ensure only the desired ones are affected? The answer lies in the practitioner’s deep experience and understanding of facial anatomy. By carefully mapping the face, determining which muscles are responsible for unwanted lines, and precisely injecting the right amount of Botox into the right treatment area, we ensure only the targeted muscles are relaxed, leaving the rest unaffected.

Safety and Efficacy: The Track Record of Botox

Having been in the market for decades, Botox has a well-established safety profile. In fact, currently, Botox is being used in a number of conditions (not only migraine) making it something of a wonder drug. Why is this relevant to you? means that Botox is subject to massive scrutiny and research, so we can be really confident about its safety. At LPA, we use Botox the brand because we think it’s the best Botox out there.

Nurse / Doctor / Consultant / Beauty Therapist

Who should you trust to do your Botox treatment?

Botox is actually a prescribed medication. That means, that behind the scenes somebody has written a prescription in your name to allow them to administer this treatment with Botox to you.

In order to prescribe any medication, a person must be qualified to do so. In the UK that may mean a doctor or another medical professional who has undergone specialist training to allow them to prescribe. Furthermore, that individual should be present during the procedure itself. It, therefore, seems completely logical, that the person who in fact carries out the treatment, is the same person who has a prescribing qualification. If this takes place, you can rest assured that you have experienced a safe treatment.

The consultation prior to your injectable treatment will involve a thorough medical assessment to ensure that there is no underlying health problem that may pose a problem with treatment. There would then be a discussion around your goals and desires and what may be achievable for you and your individual signs of ageing.

For many, the realm of aesthetic treatments is synonymous with doctors and surgeons. However, a wave of expertise is reshaping this landscape. Nurse-led clinics, armed with extensive training and an empathetic approach, are becoming increasingly prominent in the aesthetics industry. But what makes them stand out, and how do they compare with traditional doctor-run clinics?

The Compassionate Approach of Nurses

Historically, nurses have been the backbone of patient care. Their training prioritises patient well-being, comfort, and education. When you step into a nurse-led clinic, you’re entering a space where patient-centric care is paramount. You’re not just a ‘facial lines and wrinkles’ case or a procedure, but an individual seeking treatment who deserves understanding and respect.

Rigorous Training and Qualifications

Nurse practitioners undergo rigorous training, equipping them with skills that are both broad and specialised. LPA nurses are nurses who have undergone extensive added training and education. LPA is also registered with Save Face and the Care Quality Commission. These government bodies regulate the aesthetics and healthcare industries respectively.

The Versatility of Treatments Offered

From frown lines and wrinkles to more advanced procedures, nurse-led clinics offer a wide range of treatments. Botox is also used to reduce sweating, reduce teeth clenching and reduce pore size. Whether it’s Botox, fillers, or more holistic treatments, patients can be assured they’re receiving state-of-the-art care, all while benefiting from a nurse’s unique touch.

A Holistic Approach to Beauty and Well-being

Nurse-led clinics understand that beauty isn’t skin deep. Beyond the treatments, they often incorporate a more holistic approach, understanding the interconnectedness of physical appearance, mental well-being, and overall health. This comprehensive view allows them to offer advice and solutions that transcend mere aesthetics.

Why Choose a Nurse-Led Clinic?

If you’re considering an effective Botox experience and seeking a space where expertise meets empathy, where every treatment is tailored to you, and where safety and patient well-being are paramount, then a nurse-led clinic is your destination. The combination of advanced training, a wealth of experience, and a deeply patient-centric approach makes them a top choice for those embarking on their aesthetic journey. Our skills go way beyond chasing facial lines and wrinkles to working our notorious LPA ‘fresh factor’.

Understanding the Botox Procedure

While Botox treatments are relatively quick, understanding the procedure can ease any anxieties. LPA nurses will walk you through the entire process, from initial muscle mapping, and precise injections, to aftercare.

Your Role in the Treatment

Botox is a partnership between the practitioner and the patient. LPA aesthetic clinic is a space where you’re encouraged to voice questions, share past aesthetic experiences, and express your vision. This collaborative approach ensures that you are a good candidate for Botox the final results mirror your aspirations.

Cost of Botox Treatment

Wrinkle relaxing treatment at LPA is charged by the amount used. Many Botox clinics in London administer Botox injections and charge by the areas treated.

At LPA we lean away from treating ‘areas’ to enable us to assess and treat the face more holistically. We offer Botox by the vial which means that we can use your treatment where it works best without being constrained by which areas we are including or excluding. It may be that we focus on a specific area such as across the forehead, or we may advise the best treatment is to opt for low dose of Botox in numerous areas on the face. Treatment prices at LPA start from £250 for 1 vial which is enough to treat the frown, crows feet and forehead lines softly in a woman or to focus more strongly on less areas of the skin.

Botox results

The effect of Botox takes between 2-10 days to affect crow’s feet and forehead lines, in fact any areas that have been injected with Botox. Botox may take days to ‘kick in’ so make sure you factor that in to your planning. On average your fantastic results will last around 3-4 months.

The Promise of Our Clinic

If you are looking for Botox treatment in London, rest assured you’re in expert hands at our clinic, London Professional Aesthetics (LPA). We offer Botox treatment but beyond the treatment itself, we promise a nurturing environment where your concerns are heard, your goals are prioritised, and you actually enjoy the process as much as the Botox results.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Botox is a protein derived from a toxin. It is a ‘prescription-only’ medication meaning that it should only be administered by someone who has a prescribing qualification. It has many uses in the world of medicine – a bit of a wonder drug that is constantly being found new uses for. We only use Botox – the actual brand.

Wrinkle reduction injections are a preventative treatment and are suitable for both men and women alike. They are used to soften any wrinkles you already have and to prevent them from deepening. They also leave your face with ‘The fresh factor’. Commonly we use Botox in the upper face. Popular areas to treat include forehead, frown and ‘crows feet’. In the face we use botox to relax the muscles under the skin, so that the skin lying over the muscles doesn’t become so creased. Our experience ensures you a natural looking refreshed look. Botox has lots of uses in the lower face too, such as the lip flip, the neck, cobbled chin and jaw slimming to name a few. The idea of the lip flip is to give the upper a lip a little fullness without actually adding any volume. Tiny injections of Botox are placed just above the upper lip to achieve this look.

Our expertise ensures that we can deliver this treatment in such a way that you simply look refreshed and less tired.

Botox takes between 2-10 days to start working. You won’t see any difference at all immediately afterwards. Over the days that follow your treatment you will start to see the effect. You will find the length of time it takes Botox to work can differ every time you have the treatment.

Botox lasts for about 3 months. As a drug we know this for certain as with all drugs you can discover how long it takes the body to break it down and get rid of it. So in a perfect world you should aim to have treatment every 3 months. However, if you choose to have it once or twice a year you will still benefit because for 3-6 months of the year the action of your muscles will not be enough to contribute to the lines in your face.

Here at LPA we charge £250 for 1 vial and £375 for 2 vials. We do it this way so that there is no restriction with regards to where we use the treatment. You will find that prices elsewhere vary a lot from much cheaper to much more expensive. At LPA we use premium grade Botox from an official pharmaceutical distributor administered by highly experienced skilled nurses. Beware of too good to be true deals – they are just that. In the UK many clinics charge by ‘the area’ treated. At LPA we prefer the non British model of charging by the amount of product we use. This way we are charging fairly and we have the freedom to use the Botox anywhere we feel will benefit.

During a Botox consultation you will go through a thorough medical questionnaire asking about any health problems or medications. You may also be asked a few questions about how you feel about yourself and your general emotional wellbeing. Once that is done you might be asked to point out the issues you have and what you think would benefit from treatment. If it is your first time your practitioner should give you an explanation of the treatment, including things like side effects, do’s and don’ts following treatment and how long it might last. You will have some photographs taken for your medical records. Your practitioner will arrange a date for you to come back and have treatment, allowing a little time to think it over and be really sure it is the right treatment for you.

It can be hard to tell if someone has had Botox if it has been done well. Botox given the right way should result in someone looking fresh and bright rather than frozen – so you may not be able to tell at all!

It’s not how old you are but how aged your skin is. If you have deep set lines you will benefit less from Botox. If you are unsure get advice from an expert. Look for a clinic registered with Save Face or the CQC to get honest impartial advice.

Botox lasts around 3 months, so regardless of age treatment every 3-4 months is the gold standard. That being said, less frequent treatment will still have positive anti ageing benefits.

Wrinkle reduction injections are given using a super fine needle, meaning that you will find this experience very comfortable.

This treatment is very safe. The main reason you may not be suitable is if you are pregnant or breast feeding.
