Boytox, mantox, himtox - they are all made up words to describe the use of Botulinum Toxin in men. Of course men can be treated with wrinkle reduction ‘botox’ just in the same way as women. What is less well known is the amazing results you get from using the same product injected into the areas of problem sweating. Now this is by no means a treatment just for men, there are plenty of ladies out there who suffer as a result of embarrassing wet patches.

The most common area for excessive sweating is the armpits. Sweating under the arms can cause embarrassment and discomfort for some people. The treatment itself is relatively painless – no numbing required and it takes only around fifteen minutes to do. The effects begin to be noticed after a few days and last for around nine months – more than enough to see you through a British summer! In the same way as wrinkle reduction treatment, botox is injected to block the nerves that carry the message to the sweat glands to sweat. Botox can be injected into other parts of the body to reduce sweating also such as the palms of the hands and the back (although these treatments are slightly more uncomfortable).

For those who have had the problem of excessive sweating, this is a high impact treatment that really works. The release from worrying about wet patches leaves you more confident and relaxed and able to focus on the day to day things that really matter.

Excessive sweating treatment costs £400.
