Is pH formula a good skincare brand?

pH Formula: Transform Your Skin with Science

Are you ready to experience the next generation of skincare? At LPA London, we’re proud to offer pH Formula, a revolutionary range that bridges the gap between cosmetics and medical-grade skincare.

What makes pH Formula different?

    • Pharma-cosmeceutical approach: pH Formula combines the best of both worlds, using pharmaceutical-grade ingredients with a cosmeceutical delivery system for maximum effectiveness and visible results.
    • Targeted solutions: This isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. pH Formula offers a variety of targeted solutions to address specific skin concerns such as ageing, acne, pigmentation, and redness.
    • Controlled chemical skin resurfacing: Unlike harsh peels, pH Formula utilises controlled chemical resurfacing to gently exfoliate, stimulate collagen production, and reveal healthier, more radiant skin.
    • Visible results with minimal downtime: Experience noticeable improvements in your skin’s texture, tone, and overall appearance with minimal discomfort or recovery time.

Unlock the Power of pH Formula

Due to the potent nature of these products, pH Formula is available exclusively to LPA London clients who have undergone a thorough skin consultation. This ensures that you receive the most suitable products and achieve optimal results safely.

Frequently asked questions about pH formula

Is medical skincare (like the pH formula range) only for people who have skin conditions or problematic skin?

Medical skincare can be used for skin conditions like acne, rosacea, hyperpigmentation or with a poorly functioning skin barrier. It is also hugely benefical for ‘condition – free’ skins to prevent signs of ageing and increase radiance and luminosity.

What is the difference between high street skincare and medical skincare?

Medical skincare contains active ingredients packaged & combined in such a way that they have maximum impact when they are applied to the skin. High street or ‘beauty’ branded skincare do not contain the equivalent active ingredients. This type of skincare has to have a low – no side effect profile for everybody in order for it to be safely sold to the general public. This means that any active ingredients are either combined or packaged in such a way that their impact is minimal on the skin (this in turn, reduces that side effect profile). pH formula is sold on a one to one basis, to ensure you have the right product type for your skin and that you can be guided and supported through managing the products.

I use a really expensive skincare brand from the highstreet, surely because its expensive means it must be really good for my skin?

Using an expensive high street brand does not mean that it’s more effective. Increased costs can be related to marketing, celebrity endorsement, packaging and the use of luxurious ingredients like gold leaf or caviar which have no proven benefical effect of the skin at all.

I have regular Botox, do I still need to use medical skincare?

Botox is the gold standard treatment for minimising lines and wrinkles that are overlying skin with muscle activity. Dermal filler is gold standard for replacing lost volume in the face. Good quality skincare is needed in addition to these kinds of treatments. Having good quality, radiant skin will support these injectable treatments and will also increase the synergy of your overall look.

Can I use one pH formula product combined with my usual skincare regime?

You can of course, opt to use a specific product from the pH range. If you want to achieve great results, you will benefit from using the whole regime.

How long do I need to stay on a medical skincare regime?

A medical skincare regime like pH formula is intended for long term use. Our skin is a living organ, responding to internal and external factors every day. Although you may opt to use pH formula for a few months, here at LPA, we would strongly recommend that you stick with it. We are happy to supervise your product choice and from time to time we will suggest small changes to keep your skin stimulate.
